Matthew is a freelance Choral Conductor and Bass Baritone working in and around London.

Matthew is currently Music Director of Shalford Choral Society (Guildford) and Principal Conductor of the News International Choir (London). Matthew works as a Choral Animateur working in collaboration with Rochester Cathedral Chorister Outreach Project and Medway Music Services. Matthew has recently been taken on as a Bass-Baritone with the Philharmonia Chorus Professional Singers Scheme 2010.

Matthew is a Bass Choral Scholar at St Martin in the Fields, and previously held a Choral Scholarship at Rochester Cathedral. Matthew is a Deputy Lay Clerk at All Saint's Margaret Street, Chapel Royal Hampton Court, Southwark Cathedral and Chapel Royal St James'. Matthew is a Baritone with the Blossom Street Singers and regularly performs as a soloist and accompanist in and around London.

Matthew is available as a cover conductor and vocal coach, and is a skilled accompanist. He is currently the accompanist at St Michael's Steiner School (London) and previous experience includes accompaniment for ABRSM grade and diploma exams, auditions accompaniment at The University of York Music Department and private work with a number of professors based at the RCM, RAM and UWE.
