Matthew is a freelance choral conductor and bass- baritone working in and around London.

Matthew is currently Music Director of Shalford Choral Society (Guildford), the News International Choir of London (Wapping), the Reading Gay Chorus and the Take Note Chamber Choir (Lambeth).

Matthew is a Choral Animateur with the Rochester Cathedral Chorister Outreach Programme and will begin a new part-time post with Bedfordshire Music Service in September 2010. Matthew is a Baritone with the Philharmonia Chorus Professional Singers Scheme 2010 and the Blossom Street Singers, regularly performing in concerts, festivals and competitions across the UK.

Matthew has held Bass Choral Scholarships at St Martin in the Fields and Rochester Cathedral. Matthew regularly deputises at venues including St Bartholomew the Great, Chelsea Old Church, All Saint's Margaret Street, Chapel Royal Hampton Court, Southwark Cathedral and Chapel Royal St James'.

Matthew is available as a cover conductor and vocal coach, and is an experienced accompanist. He is currently accompanist at St Michael's Steiner School in London, and has worked for ABRSM as well as a number of institutions including the University of York, Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College of Music and the University of the West of England.
