Matthew is a choral conductor, baritone and music educator working in and around London.

Matthew is currently Music Director of Shalford Choral Society (Surrey) and the Thames Valley Gay Chorus (Reading). Matthew is Assistant Director of Music at St Paul's Preparatory School (Colet Court) in Barnes, London.

Previous conducting work includes posts with the News International Choir, Take Note Chamber Choir and the London Gay Men's Chorus. Previous educational work includes animateur posts with Bedfordshire Music Service (Sing Up Scheme) and Rochester Cathedral's Sing Up Outreach Scheme.

Matthew is a Baritone with the Philharmonia Chorus Professional Singers Scheme and performs regularly as part of the Blossom Street Singers, a professional octet based in London with concerts, festivals and corporate engagements across the UK.

Matthew regularly deputises at London churches including St Martin in the Fields, Rochester Cathedral, St Bartholomew the Great, Chelsea Old Church, All Saint's Margaret Street, Chapel Royal Hampton Court, Southwark Cathedral and Chapel Royal St James'.

Matthew has wide experience as an accompanist, having previously worked for ABRSM as well as institutions including the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music.
